On 12th November Stock of IDICO Urban and House Development Join Stock Company (short named:IDICO-UDICO) officially joins security market.

On 31 October 2007 Hochiminh City Stock Exchange issued Decision No. 137/QD-SGDCK o­n accepting IDICO –UDICO to list its common stock with code UIC o­n Hochiminh City Stock Exchange (HOSE).  

As plan, o­n 12^th November 2007 IDICO – UDICO’s common stocks will enter official transaction, correspondingly IDICO – UDICO becomes the 123^rd Company that their common stock is listed o­n HOSE with code UIC.

IDICO – UDICO that currently is a subsidiary of Vietnam Urban and Industrial Zone Development Investment Corporation initially was Construction and Construction material trading Enterprise belonging to Urban and Industrial Zone Company under the Ministry of Construction. In 2000 based o­n the reorganization, the Enterprise was transferred to Urban and House Development Investment Company. In 2005 Urban and House Development Investment Company was equitized and named IDICO Urban and House Development Investment Joint Stock Company (IDICO-UDICO). At present IDICO-UDICO do their business with a capital of VND80 billion equal to 80.000.000stocks, in which 51% of capital is state-owned, 19,7% is hold by Company staff and 29,3% is hold by shareholder outside the Company.

IDICO-UDICO focus o­n such business activities as: electricity trading, Installation and Construction, house trading. During the past years, IDICO – UDICO of the Company has achieved remarkable development with increasing turnover and earning. Earning after tax of 2005 is VND 10.7 billion, 2006 is VND11 billion, early six months of 2007 is VND9.8 billion, in which electricity and water trading occupies highest rate (more than 80%) in total turnover of the Company.
